Pastor J.Derek White Is the Senior Pastor and founder of Progressive Ministries Worship Center. The focus of the ministry is to exemplify the love of Jesus Christ with a passion for helping people. Progressive Ministries operates in the demonstration of the five-fold ministry gifts and dynamic illustrative preaching & teaching that empowers lives. The message of Progressive Ministries is to conveys a life changing concept that brings divine reversal in the lives of a people hungry for God and ready for change. It speaks to the heart of man, with a balance of practical principles for living a successful and purpose driven life free of sin, sickness, worry, and debt.
In 1998, Pastor & First Lady Cherome White envisioned a ministry that transcends beyond the normal religious traditions of man, Pastor White along with his beautiful wife, First Lady Evangelist Cherome White moved to Queens NY and in 1999 with only six members, they birthed the Progressive Ministries Worship Center in a non-traditional church setting with a multi-cultural mission.
Jeremiah said it on this wise, "And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding." He became, in every sense of the word the pastor.
Through their passion to touch lives, Pastor & First Lady White have been a blessing to the Families that have come to the church. Pastor White is a driven man of God. He is a leader of leaders, an avid reality preacher and teacher who has become a great example to many other young preachers and Pastors. He balances his ministry life as the dedicated Husband of First Lady Evangelist Cherome White and the proud father of one daughter Saija Danielle White.
